About Tony
My name is Tony, and I am a philosopher, author and freelance teacher who has spent the past two years travelling. I became a teacher during this time as the work harmonised with my travels but have since found it to be an engaging and fulfilling vocation. Before I became a teacher I worked as a freelance academic writer for a number of years, writing a multitude of essays at the university level. Now, I am a well-seasoned teacher who has taught hundreds of students, an experienced writer, and a course creator. In my current career, I have found a way to blend everything that I have learned in philosophy, writing and teaching to be of the greatest possible help to my students.

I will help you to plan, develop, research and write your academic essay for university. As someone who has worked as a professional essay writer (for UK Essays) I know how to structure and develop an effective essay efficiently and effectively. I have written scores of essays during my career in a broad range of subjects including philosophy, history, politics, religion and international affairs. I will spend time with you to go through your essay; understand the criteria of your assignment and the approach that you want to take with your answer, and help you to formulate a robust plan. During the essay-writing process, I will guide you on your research (helping you to gather and select the right sources) and with your writing (helping you to structure your paragraphs and sentences to make your writing convincing and clear). I will continuously review your essay, checking it for: a) clarity of writing, b) legitimacy of research & referencing, and c) flow/integrity of logic & argument. I will help you to overcome any mistakes that you make until your essay is complete.

It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that Tony knows absolutely everything about essay writing, no matter what the topic is. I have learnt a lot and my grades have significantly improved over the past months; first I had an average rate of 70, but after studying with Tony my average rate is 85! I have found his advice to be extremely useful, not to mention that he is a very supportive, pleasant and cheerful person. I believe that every student who has difficulties with writing essays (or if you are learning English at the same time, like me) must book a lesson with Tony and step by step, writing an essay will gradually cease to be a struggle. Tony is a patient, efficient and considerate teacher. In the lessons, he guided me through the process of improving and rewriting a personal statement for graduate school application. I have learned how to tell my story more engagingly. This is an important skill not only in school but also in the workplace.
I have known Tony for quite some years now. His essay writing style is succinct and structured which is great for people who panic about essays like me. He is calm and rational and breaks the process up into steps. His methodology is efficient and he knows his own technique like the back of hand as well as how to teach it.
