About Constantin

Hi there, I'm Constantin! :)
I'm currently in the last semester of my physics bachelor's degree at ETH, and I will pursue my master's degree in Oxford afterwards. One of the things I particularly enjoyed during my studies was leading a tutorial session. There, I was able to share experiences and insights that I had gained in a subject. I have also been giving one-on-one tutoring for several years. What I especially like about it is the direct connection with the students; you get to know each other well and the teaching style can really be tailored to the student. Overall, I really enjoy teaching, which is why I'd like to continue tutoring online, even after moving out of Switzerland!

I gave one-on-one tutoring during my time in school, especially in math and last year at ETH I taught a larger group in assistance to a given lecture. I always start with a more interactive approach, where we talk about general concepts and formulas in order to understand them. Later we take a look at specific problems where we can directly apply what we have learned. These latter exercises are usually the exam-relevant tasks, but I've noticed that building strong fundamentals helps enormously afterwards.
