About Casey
I am currently a Master's student studying Imperial Russia and early Soviet Central Asia. I graduated valedictorian of my undergraduate college with degrees in History and Russian and a minor in secondary education. I have experience tutoring middle and high schoolers as well as student teaching experience.

I am a fun, high energy instructor who believes that in order for students to succeed, they need to be able to find the meaning and passion behind their work. Thus, I am flexible and accommodating to multiple learning styles and primarily focus on adapting content to student interests. As a student, I often struggled to stay focused and feel valued in the classroom, so I understand what it's like as a young person to not feel confident in your academics.
