About Franklin
Experienced Maths and Science teacher that can work with students of all abilities. I have worked in both grammar school and comprehensive settings - delivering clear, engaging lessons tailored to each student's needs and targets. I build strong understanding, boost confidence, and focus on exam success. My aim is to help students every step of the way - better understanding of what was taught in class, close gaps in their knowledge, develop excellent exam skills, develop better attitude to learning and ultimately, exam success.

I focus on student-centred approach, planning and adapting lessons to students' needs. With excellent track record of students making a minimum of 2+ grades within a year, I have proven track record of excellent attainments. I encourage active participation, engagement with learning after sessions, academic mentoring and build confidence. As an experienced examiner and teacher trainer, I also focus on exam technique, and foster a better learning attitude.

Franklin started off tutoring my 2 children - one at GCSE - maths, Bio, Chem and Phy and the other at A level - Maths and Phy. It was very evident that Franklin as an examiner, excellent classroom teacher and head of department made my children enjoy Learning and made incredible progress. They were both 2 grade below their target grade in most subjects and in the final exams, they achieved 2 grades above their target grades. We were extremely pleased with the outcome and as a parent, I highly rate Franklin and strongly recommend any parent/guardian to take him on board.
