About Lani
My interest in Excel began when I discovered how spreadsheets could simplify calculations, organize information, and improve efficiency in professional and academic environments naturally and effectively. This curiosity encouraged me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and dedicate myself to technical education. During the past 6 years, I have guided students through Excel learning using patient teaching and supportive instruction. I enjoy transforming difficult spreadsheet concepts into manageable lessons that learners can understand comfortably and confidently. Watching students improve their confidence in spreadsheet management continues motivating me as an educator. My teaching philosophy focuses on understanding, consistency, and encouragement instead of pressure-based learning. I believe students improve best when they feel supported and comfortable asking questions openly.
Throughout my teaching experience, I have worked with beginners, office professionals, university learners, and advanced students preparing for business and technical tasks. These experiences helped me understand the importance of adapting lessons according to different learning styles and technical goals. I use practical examples, guided exercises, and business scenarios to help students strengthen spreadsheet understanding steadily. I also encourage learners to think independently and build confidence through regular practice. Many students appreciate my calm and approachable teaching style because it helps them remain motivated during technical topics. My goal is to create a positive learning atmosphere where students feel encouraged to improve continuously.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring productivity software, studying reporting systems, and learning about modern data management tools and automation methods. These interests help me bring practical technical insight into my lessons naturally. I believe spreadsheet education should strengthen confidence, organization, and analytical thinking in learners. Over the years, I have seen many students transform from uncertain beginners into capable Excel users. My goal is to make Excel learning practical, engaging, and confidence-building.
