About Owen
My interest in Excel and data analysis began from curiosity about how organizations manage large amounts of information and convert it into useful decisions. I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems and have 7 years of teaching experience. Over time, I have helped learners develop strong spreadsheet and analytical skills.
I believe Excel becomes easier when students understand the logic behind formulas instead of memorizing them. My teaching method focuses on breaking down each function step by step and connecting it with real-world examples. I encourage learners to practice regularly and explore multiple ways of solving the same problem.
In the long run, my goal is to help learners become highly skilled in data handling and analysis so they can succeed in professional environments. I aim to guide them toward mastering reporting, automation, and data interpretation skills. As they grow, they become confident in handling complex datasets, supporting decision-making processes, and contributing effectively in fields where data accuracy, speed, and analytical thinking determine success.

My Excel lessons are designed to help students understand how data can be organized, analyzed, and transformed into meaningful insights using structured methods. I teach topics such as formulas, functions, data cleaning, charts, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and basic automation tools. Instead of treating Excel as only a software tool, I help learners understand it as a powerful system for logical thinking and data-driven decision-making.
Each lesson is tailored to the learner’s level. Beginners focus on spreadsheet basics, simple formulas, and navigation. Intermediate learners work on data analysis techniques, reporting structures, and function combinations. Advanced learners focus on dashboards, complex formulas, and professional reporting systems. Practice exercises are included in every session to improve accuracy and confidence.
In the long run, my goal is to help learners develop strong analytical thinking skills so they can confidently work with data in academic and professional environments. As they progress, they begin to identify patterns, interpret large datasets, and create meaningful reports that support decision-making. This ability becomes highly valuable in careers involving business, finance, administration, and research, where clear data interpretation and structured thinking are essential for long-term success and professional growth.
