About Evie
For the past 8 years, I've had the pleasure of teaching guitar to students from school to college. My teaching style is friendly, relaxed, and focused on helping students enjoy music while learning. I understand that every student is different, so I work to make each lesson fit their pace and goals. I love watching beginners slowly become confident players.
One proud memory I have is when a student who once struggled with rhythm ended up leading his college band at a festival. It reminded me that with patience and the right support, anyone can achieve great things in music. My goal is to keep lessons fun, meaningful, and full of small wins that lead to big progress.

Teaching guitar is about much more than playing notes—it’s about inspiring passion and creativity in every student. My teaching approach is built on motivation, clear communication, integrity, and creativity. I believe each student learns differently, so I take time to understand their interests and goals. Whether you want to play your favorite songs, learn music theory, or develop your own style, I create personalized lessons that fit your needs.
Motivation is key; I encourage students to set small goals and celebrate progress, keeping learning fun and rewarding. Communication is always open and simple. I explain concepts clearly and make sure students feel comfortable asking questions anytime. No one is rushed, and I adapt lessons to each learner’s pace. Creativity makes lessons exciting. From improvisation and songwriting to exploring different genres like rock, blues, or classical, students are encouraged to express themselves.
I also teach rhythm, ear training, and music reading to build strong musical skills. Integrity means being honest and respectful. I give clear, constructive feedback and focus on building confidence and trust.This approach helps students not just play guitar but enjoy music deeply and grow as musicians.
