About Stephen
Hello! I'm Stephen Salaka, and my passion is transforming technology teams from Zeroes to Heroes by developing world-class solutions, software, and systems. My journey began as a coder and hands-on systems guy, but I soon found myself thrust into leadership roles that demanded serious chaos management skills. Over the past two decades, I’ve honed my expertise in leading software engineering teams, turning complex challenges into profitable opportunities.
I hold a PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, which equips me with a deep understanding of human behavior and organizational dynamics, allowing me to foster high-performing teams. In addition to my teaching certifications, which qualify me to teach Math and Science K-12 in Florida, I have earned numerous IT certifications that underline my technical expertise. My diverse skill set enables me to bridge the gap between technology and people, driving both innovation and productivity in the teams I lead.
