- What kind of experience do you have? I currently tutor several students in London on a private basis, but am always looking for more tutees! My subjects range from Music and Drama, to Maths, Science and English. I also conduct workshops in Music, Musical Theatre, Shakespeare and Acting on a professional basis. - Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate? Hello! I'm an actor, musician and private tutor, with a lot of tutoring experience in many different fields. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you like my profile! - Which subject(s) do you teach? My specialist subjects include Music and Drama, which I can tutor to degree level. I am also able to provide assistance with preparing for drama school and conservatoire auditions. In addition, I am comfortable with most 11+ Common Entrance subjects and can offer lessons in Piano, Voice and Oboe. I have experience in tutoring Academic and practical Music, Drama, Singing, Elocution, Science, English and Maths. - Tell me about your qualifications. I hold First Class Honours in Music from Durham University, and furthermore, received a distinction in the Postgraduate Diploma in Musical Theatre course at the Royal Academy of Music. I achieved 3 As at A Level in Music, French and Latin, an A in Theatre Studies AS Level and 4 A*s, 5 As and a B at GCSE Level. - How much do you charge? My standard fee is £40p/hr.This fee is negotiable. - Where do you teach? I live in Leeds but have students in a variety of locations. I usually travel to homes, however, I am open to teaching at my home, where I have a keyboard or equally via Skype. - When are you available? I currently have several vacancies, so please feel free to make suggestions of times and days. - Which ages and levels do you teach? I have experience with a great many age groups. Please see my subjects section for further details. - Which qualifications do you prepare your students for? I can prepare for below 11+, 11+, 13+, GCSE, iGCSE, A Level and Degree Topics (Music). I can also prepare students for Drama School auditions. - Describe your arrangements for online tutoring. Skype tuition is available.

Alex has been teaching me singing for over a year now, and in that time I feel I have improved dramatically. We use a variety of exercises to help build up stamina and technique, which I find has helped me to build confidence in the varied repertoire we work on.
