About Samara
Hey everybody! My name is Samara, and I am a tutor primarily based in Point Cook. I graduated from Westbourne Grammar School in 2025 as a House captain, achieving an ATAR of 95.10 with raw 40+ study scores in Chemistry and English. I am now studying a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne, where I continue to develop my knowledge past VCE study designs, as well as my teaching practice. I offer Math and English Tuition for Year 7 – 10 students, and I also VCE Chemistry Tuition. With roughly 3 years of informal tutoring experience, aiding younger students as well as peers with homework, test/SAC preparation, and understanding complex topics.

Overall, my tutoring style is patient, structured, and adaptable. I use play-based, confidence-building strategies for younger students, focusing on engagement and foundational skills, while offering more structured, analytical, and skills-based guidance for older students preparing for assessments and SACs. No matter the age group, I break down complex ideas into simple, manageable steps and tailor each lesson to the student’s learning style. I believe every student can succeed with the right support, and I’m committed to creating a positive, encouraging environment where they feel capable and motivated to grow.
