About Katherine
Hello, I am a current University of Florida undergraduate student majoring in Chemistry and Mathematics with a minor in physics. I took and passed 17 AP Exams, including AP Chemistry, AP Calculus BC, AP statistics, AP Latin and both AP Physics C exams. As a motivated student myself, I am passionate about helping my peers and have hundreds of hours of tutoring experience from high school, and I truly believe that every student should have access to affordable tutoring for the same opportunity to succeed. I try to keep my tutoring rates super affordable because I don't want money to be a hindering obstacle for students that want to succeed and all of the money I earn from tutoring goes directly to paying for my college education that I am working hard to complete debt free indirectly my education is allowing me to become a better tutor and I am glad to always help each and every student to the best of my ability. I personally have passed 17 AP exams but that was not always easy and I can't wait to share all of my exam tips and tricks along the way.

I like to be super hands-on in my lessons and work through practice problems because it is so essential to the learning process and acing those major end-of-year tests. I am looking to tutor any elementary through high school math and science classes, including AP classes specifically. I also have experience tutoring the SAT Math section and am ready to help any student get their score up into the 1350 - 1500 range. A typical lesson plan would be to talk through the material that needs tutoring and some different tips and tricks for handling certain types of problems in the first few minutes before deep diving into practice problems. I like to prepare before my sessions in order to provide each and every student the best tutoring experience.
