About Janaki
I am an experienced Information Technology and Cybersecurity professional with over 30 years of experience in IT, cyber risk management, security governance and technology leadership. I hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics, a Graduate Diploma in Information Technology and the TAE qualification (Training and Assessment) from TAFE which supports my teaching and training capability. I also hold internationally recognized professional certifications including CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor – IT audit and assurance), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager – information security management), CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control – cyber and technology risk management), CGEIT (Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT – IT governance and strategy), CSX (Cybersecurity) and CCISO (Certified Chief Information Security Officer).
Throughout my career I have worked with large organizations and government environments supporting cybersecurity governance, IT risk management, security frameworks, audit, compliance and technology oversight. I enjoy teaching and helping students and professionals understand cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, IT governance and digital risk concepts in a clear and practical way. My goal is to simplify complex technology and cybersecurity topics so learners can build strong understanding and practical knowledge.
