About Déesse
I am a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education, Majored in English. I have a Professional Teacher's License and a Master's Degree in Education. Over the last eight years, I have worked in the Online Teaching Industry and Call Center Industry with experience in both inbound and outbound campaigns. I have excellent communication skills. I can work under minimum supervision. I have strong verbal and written communication skills. I am able to practice active and attentive listening, demonstrate proficient grammar and deliver clear, concise, professional communication. I have highly adaptive communication and language skills to meet customers on their level. I can demonstrate confidence and manage control of interaction as needed. I am very detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple assignments promptly and effectively. I follow instructions, respond well to directions, takes responsibility for my own actions, and meet or exceed all expectations. With my experience in teaching I am sure to deliver the expectations of student and will surely be a lot of help in achieving their goals in mastering the English language.

My approach in tutoring the English Language is using the direct method, grammar translation method, structural approach and TPR. My main focus is oral skill taught via repetitive drilling. Grammar is taught using an inductive way and students need to try and guess the rules through my oral presentation. I also focus on teaching heavy grammar and its structure and with the effective use of TPR "learning by doing", students will gain the most important skill which is aural comprehension. When it comes to the length of the lesson, students can choose to attend to a 30-minute to 1 hour lesson depending on the students preference. I have 8 years of experience as a tutor both online and offline. I can teach students in beginning, intermediate and advanced levels.
