About Emanuele Silvio
I am a master student (Theoretical Physics) at Imperial College London with a passion for scientific research in condensed matter theory and material science. I am highly motivated to help students with their work and to help them achieve great results. I am fully bilingual in Italian as I have lived in Italy before moving to London to study at Imperial College.
In high school I have tutored Maths and Physics. At Imperial College I volunteered as a tutor and mentor of Physics, helping undergraduate students to achieve excellent grades. Having experienced both the Italian and the British educational system I have developed a variety of different approaches that I use to tackle and to overcome learning difficulties. Theory indeed represents a significant part of the learning process. However, in science subjects, I believe, from experience, that it is even more important to work through exercises and past exam questions together side by side with the student.
Beyond tutoring, I play volleyball and play the piano. I am a well rounded person and I promise will do my best to make your tutoring experience as enjoyable as possible.

Perfect! Review
Emanuele is both a very helpful and organised tutor. Not only did he help me understand the material given, he also guided me on how to summarise my notes which really helped with my revision. He . taught me how to structure my answer in a constructive manner. He is dedicated, hard working and I strongly recommend him.

Emanuele is an outstanding undergraduate student in the Department of Physics, Imperial College London. He is currently completing the third year of his studies here. Emanuele has contributed to the Peer Assisted Learning programme that we run at Imperial College over the 2017/18 academic year. He was an exemplary mentor, always prepared for the sessions and always on time. He was very dedicated to this role in helping undergraduate students with their physics studies and was commended by the students who worked with him.
