About Robert

With over a decade of experience in education and a leadership, I bring both subject expertise and pastoral care to every lesson. My background as a subject lead means I understand how to break down complex ideas into clear, engaging explanations that spark curiosity and build confidence. I take pride in being patient, approachable, and highly organised. My lessons are structured yet flexible, always tailored to the individual needs of the student. Whether your child is preparing for exams, needs help catching up, or simply wants to explore science in more depth, I provide a calm and encouraging environment where they can thrive. Professionalism, consistency, and a genuine passion for teaching are at the heart of everything I do.

About the lesson

As a passionate and experienced teacher, my approach to tutoring is rooted in curiosity, clarity, and confidence-building. I tailor each lesson to the individual needs of the student, using a mix of visual aids, real-world examples, and interactive questioning to make science both accessible and exciting. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, with flexibility depending on the student's age and focus level. I believe in creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas. With over a decade of experience in education and a strong background in curriculum leadership, I specialise in helping KS2 and early KS3 students (ages 9–13) build a solid foundation in science. I have taught IB, CE and ISEB lessons and understand the knowledge your child needs for each exam. Whether your child needs help catching up, preparing for entrance exams, or simply wants to deepen their understanding, I’m here to help them thrive.

Robert is a fantastic tutor, when prepping my children for their CE exams he drew upon years of tutoring and classroom
experience in some of the best schools around to clarify difficult concepts and give my children the confidence to sit and succeed in their exams. Highly recommend.
