About Sophie
As a high school student, I participate in many activities which I handle with utmost professionalism and attention to detail. I am very fervent in my study of mathematics and love teaching concepts to others. Due to my younger age I believe I can better communicate and relate to younger students as well, building a better learning culture where students feel more comfortable.

As a mathematics tutor, my main focus will be helping students build connections and solve problems on a scale they are unable to at school. For students struggling in class, my tutoring offers otherwise unattainable help. For students excelling in class, my tutoring offers a new opportunity to explore more advanced concepts. A typical lesson plan would be first a short introduction or practice problem, then delving into the student's own personal questions or problems to target their specific needs. My class best suits elementary or middle school students.
