About Becky

Hi, I'm Becky and I have been tutoring for 10 years. I have been a secondary maths teacher for 6 years. My degree is in Geography and I also teach sciences! I have an SEN diploma and a mental health Level 2 certificate and so I am confident in tutoring all abilities, ages, many subjects and many different needs! I am firm but fair and fun! I enjoy building a relationship with my students as I feel they do much better if we get on. I like to incorporate things into lessons that the student enjoys (especially in Geography). One of my strengths as a tutor is understanding the misconceptions that a child faces and giving detailed feedback to ensure that the mistakes can be corrected! In my spare time I enjoy baking, reading and learning German and Spanish. University : - University of Birmingham - Geography [2:1] School : Cockshut Hill Technology College A Levels - Maths [B] - Geography [A] - Chemistry [C]

I had Becky as a tutor for my gcse maths. I was told by my teacher I wouldnt pass maths. Becky helped me so much, made me feel comfortable and really helped me understand maths. With her help and guidance, I ended up passing maths with a grade 5! I would not of been able to of passed without her. Highly recommend

Becky was absolutely brilliant with my daughter. My daughter was really struggling with maths and was not going to pass her GCSE maths. We engaged the services of Becky - she explained everything so clearly for my daughter. Am over the moon to confirm my daughter passed with flying colours
