About Zachary
Hi! I recently graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a double major in Spanish and Linguistics and a minor in economics! I've been tutoring Spanish since September of 2019 and have helped students in all stages of the language learning process (from the Beginning Spanish levels all the way through advanced Spanish Linguistics topics). I really love helping students work through their language journeys and discover what a fun, beautiful, and rewarding language Spanish is! I have near-native fluency in the language thanks to extensive study at the university level as well as a study abroad trip to Seville, Spain in the summer of 2019 where I lived with a host family and communicated solely in Spanish! Reviews from prior students of mine have mentioned: "He genuinely cares whether or not I succeed" and "The way he explained the concepts made a lot more sense and I did really well on my test".

I mainly tutor Spanish language and linguistics classes at the undergraduate level. In these sessions I guide the student through their doubts and help them understand the fundamental workings of the language and applied concepts such as linguistics. I think ultimately sharing the strategies which have worked for me is the best to get the students to reach self-sufficiency and fluency in the language!
