About Lisa
I am a North Wales based Music teacher and accomplished pianist with over 15 years of teaching experience. Working as both a Music Lecturer and Piano Tutor I have extensive experience teaching a variety of courses including GCSE Music, BTEC Level 2 and 3 Music Technology courses, and A'level Music. I have worked for Edexcel for over 5 years as an External Verifier and Examiner for BTEC Level 2/3 music and Music Technology and this has enabled me to keep up to date with all the course standards and course specifications.
I am a passionate piano teacher and love working with young beginner students by focussing on making each lesson fun and rewarding. I have worked as a peripatetic piano teacher at an independent school in North Wales for over 5 years where students worked towards ABRSM examinations. Even though my background is classical music I am also able to offer tuition in popular music.

Having recently tutored EFL English classes live on the internet I have become accustomed to online teaching and have developed a knack for making lessons engaging and most of all interactive. I am currently completing my final year Masters in Music Therapy at the University of South Wales and hope to graduate in 2021. I currently work 2 days a week as a trainee Music Therapist at a Special Educational Needs School which I love doing and would equally enjoy teaching students who have learning difficulties, ASD, or any other special needs. I can differentiate my teaching style and materials to suit the needs of each student.
