About Brock
I've been making music using primarily Ableton for about 8 years now, and have since garnered millions of streams across platforms, worked with Grammy-nominated artists, worked with management and publishing teams, and have released music both independently and through a handful of electronic music record labels. I'm fluent across many genres, though most comfortable in hip-hop & electronic music.
Studying architecture and related software has also given me the tools necessary to visualize my music, from 3D modelling and cover art, to audio reactive visualizers and animation. This is demonstrated by the YouTube link included in my profile!
Most importantly, I think for this context, is that I'm patient and understanding. I did not enjoy school when I was younger, and learning how to make music was critical in developing my confidence and passion for further learning. I'm confident that I can be a tutor that you can trust to ask questions no matter how wild they may seem!

I'm most interested in helping people realize their passion for music. Learning how to make music has given me an incredible creative outlet, and I would love to help you discover the same!
My strength as a tutor is in guiding you to find your own way of thinking about music and being there for you to ask questions. My background in both music and architecture has developed my ability to think fluidly between creative ideas and analogize concepts through more familiar lenses. I believe this will allow me to help you discover what truly interests you about music and design!
I'm quite happy to teach out of my apartment where I have access to speakers, guitar, MIDI keyboard & microphone, or teach online. I don't have a car, so unless you are located near Glebe, I can't travel to your home. Happy to teach all ages.
