Perfect! I started learning cello at age 44, and have studied with Carlo for about 1.5 years. He's an excellent teacher. He finds ways to explain things that make sense for me, he is always supportive and positive, and he finds music for me to practice that I like (which makes me much more likely to actually do it). His understanding of music theory and how it applies to cello goes very deep. But most importantly, he loves the instrument and his enthusiasm for it is contagious.
