About Jeetha

I am a dedicated Chemistry educator with over 12 years of experience guiding students through the rigors of the IB Diploma Programme (HL/SL), IGCSE, and CBSE curricula. My expertise lies in simplifying complex chemical concepts, from organic reaction mechanisms to stoichiometry, making them accessible and engaging for students.
Having served as an MYP Personal Project Coordinator and Interdisciplinary Unit (IDU) mentor, I understand the importance of inquiry-based learning and conceptual understanding. I don't just teach the syllabus; I help students develop the critical thinking skills necessary to excel in their Internal Assessments (IAs), Extended Essays (EE), and final examinations. My goal is to foster a genuine curiosity for science while ensuring academic excellence.

About the lesson

My teaching philosophy is rooted in the Inquiry-Based Learning model. I believe that students learn best when they connect theory to real-world applications. My online sessions include:
Conceptual Scaffolding: Breaking down "heavy" topics into manageable parts.
Exam-Oriented Practice: Systematic walkthroughs of past paper questions and marking schemes to build student confidence.
ATL Skill Integration: Focus on "Approaches to Learning" to improve student research, self-management, and analytical thinking.
Interactive Tools: Utilizing digital whiteboards and virtual simulations to make abstract concepts visual and easy to understand.
