Based in historic Xi’an, I’m an experienced Chinese teacher with professionally trained standard Mandarin and an English certificate. I play guzheng, sing traditional opera and specialize in ancient Chinese poetry, blending rich Chinese culture into customized lessons with exclusive learning materials. Patient, humorous and student-oriented, I create a laid-back classroom to inspire students to speak confidently. I support beginners, HSK/YCT test-takers, and learners for daily, business or travel Chinese aiming for study, work or cultural exploration.

Thanks to my journalism background and broadcast-trained standard Mandarin, I customize lessons patiently for all needs: children for YCT, adults/overseas learners for daily, travel or business Chinese, and exam takers for HSK, catering to beginners, intermediate students and those who struggle to speak up.
