About Sarah
I began playing the piano at the age of 8, and from that moment, music has been my lifelong passion. Over the years, I have had the honor of performing at renowned venues like Carnegie Hall, and participating in recitals and competitions, all of which have shaped my deep love for music and performance. My goal as a teacher is to inspire that same love and passion for the piano in my students, especially children. I believe that every child has the potential to not only learn the technical skills needed to play, but also to experience the joy and creativity that music brings. By sharing my own journey and experiences, I hope to encourage young learners to embrace the piano as both a fun and rewarding experience. In addition to my musical background, I hold an MBA from NYU, which has given me a strong understanding of discipline, dedication, and the importance of cultivating a well-rounded mindset. With my passion for teaching and the piano, I am excited to help children discover their own musical abilities and develop a lifelong appreciation for music.

My love for piano started at a very young age and I hope to bring this passion to my students. My goal is to make each lesson fun and interactive, sparking a love for music right from the start.

For beginners, I use a combination of hands-on activities and simplified exercises that keep students motivated and excited. I focus on building proper technique and music theory in an approachable way, ensuring that the fundamentals are easy to grasp. As we progress, I incorporate more traditional classical pieces, but always maintain an emphasis on enjoyment and expression.

Each lesson begins with a fun warm-up that focuses on hand position, finger independence, and rhythm. Then, we review any material learned previously, celebrating progress and addressing challenges in a supportive way.
