Natalie -- passionate scholar of Classical Languages and culture. I am committed to providing enthusiastic and adaptive tutoring services to students of Ancient Latin. The skills of learning an ancient language are different from modern languages. I offer homework help, test prep, as well as practical skills training in how to become a better student or scholar, including knowing how and when to appropriately use online tools. My lessons prioritize understanding over memorization whenever possible. Because this is an individual-based service, lessons can be adapted to suit students of various learning styles and dis/abilities. My services are suitable for high school students, AP (Advanced Placement) students, IB (International Baccalaureate) students, undergraduate students, seminarians and Religious Studies graduate students. 1 hour tutoring sessions can be held online or in-person at the student’s home or in a local library.

Natalie is a patient educator, funny, and very knowledgeable about ancient languages. Natalie can make topics interesting and easily learnable, and works very well with a range of ages. Anyone would be lucky to learn from Natalie!

No other teacher has such a passion for Latin *and* the literary tradition behind it. Natalie got my son very interested in the Classics. Now I can't get him to stop speaking in Latin! I would highly recommend Natalie.
Natalie is extremely knowledgable, patient, and good at explaining difficult concepts/ideas! They created a warm environment where I felt comfortable to ask questions. And when I did ask questions, Natalie answered in a way that got right to the root of my confusion! 10/10 recommend!
