About Mark
Hello, my name is Mark and I've been teaching Computing since 2011.
I'm passionate about teaching others about the subject I have loved since I was 11 years old.
What makes me different from other tutors? My brain isn't wired up like a typical computer science teacher, I've had to work hard to master my understanding of the various subject areas. So I know first hand what it is like to feel 'I just don't understand it'.
Over the years I've mastered ways in which to deliver even the most trickiest of subject areas, so that you will not only learn new information, but be able to understand it, and apply it to exam-style questions.
I have moderated coursework, and marked examinations for four years now. I therefore provide extensive guidance on how to perform under pressure in examination conditions to achieve maximum impact.

My approach to tutoring will be tailored to your needs and how you learn best. I pride my self on the positive working relationships that I quickly build with my students, which enables me to pitch lessons and learning just right.
Typical length of a lesson is 60 minutes, however, I can deliver longer lessons if required.
I am a qualified and experienced teacher and senior leader. I have a post graduate certificate in education (P.G.C.E.) and qualified teacher status (QTS).
I have a 2:1 B.Sc degree in the computing field, and the relevant A-Levels and GCSEs.
I have been tutoring now for four years.
I can teach KS3 - KS5.
