About Michael
I have been a teacher and lecturer in a number of colleges and schools in the UK and abroad, from Secondary school level up to supervising Masters and PhD students. My greatest skill is in helping students make sense of complex issues. I can help the student prepare for any level of test or exam, or assist him or her to clarify ideas and express them more coherently. My motto is: "education is liberation".

My teaching methodology is entirely student-centred and will vary depending on the needs and capacities of the individual. I help the student to learn, to understand, and to apply what he or she has learned. An understanding of the Humanities is a celebration of the best of what it is to be human. The student will determine and define his or her needs and goals and I will help him or her to construct the methodology and means to achieve these.
