About Ann-Marie
I am a trained and experienced Drama teacher and have been teaching Drama in secondary schools for 18 years. I have also taught primary school students from nursery up to year 6.
I trained as a singer and a singing teacher 16 years ago and have taught groups and individuals online and in person.
I am also a singer in a band and believe that you can only be a good teacher and a good singer by using your voice correctly.
No matter what anyone says, everyone has the ability and the potential to sing and I am passionate about teaching people about the science of speaking and singing so that they can become more confident individuals who demand the attention of others… or simply enjoy improving their singing and speaking skills!

In my lessons you will learn about the following:
The science of how your voice works and how to manipulate the larynx to create different sounds
How to prevent voice loss and how to protect the voice
How to sing in a range of styles
How to manage your nerves and improve confidence and performance skills
You also have the option of working on characters and acting techniques.
I offer LAMDA qualifications, including Musical Theatre, and the opportunity to record your own tracks in a recording studio.
Online or in person lessons are available.
