Mrs. Wilson was my fifth grade teacher and always taught with patience and kindness. She is fantastic!

Tanya was my mentor while I was learning the foundations of education in college. She was an incredible teacher who consistently guided, encouraged, and supported me throughout my journey. Her knowledge, patience, and dedication helped shape me into the educator I am today.

I worked with Tanya Wilson for 2 years at Clanton Intermediate School. She quickly became one of my very good friends and coworkers. She is an excellent teacher who shows great passion for her job and compassion for her students. I look up to her not only as a teacher but as a human being as well. She goes above and beyond for her students and really ensures her students understand the things she is teaching.

I have known Tanya both as my child’s teacher and as a colleague. Seeing her in both roles has given me a unique perspective on her dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for her students.

She creates a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and confident in their abilities. As a colleague, I have also seen firsthand how much time and effort she invests in preparing lessons and supporting students beyond the classroom.

Mrs Wilson taught at my son’s school and when she would come to the lunchroom she was so sweet and understood if we didn’t have something . She subbed in my son’s class while the other teacher was on maternity leave and she answered our questions if we needed some guidance on paper grades and how to help ! She always had a smile even on the rough days !!

I know Mrs.Wilson since I was in the 5th grade, she was my 5th grade teacher. She literally was my saving grace and helped me through so much. Even after I moved on to 6th grade she continued to follow up and keep in touch with me as we went to the same church. She cared and loved me then and loves and cares for me now. We still keep in touch and I’m very close to her and I highly recommend her as anyone’s tutor or mentor. Very respectful, caring, trustworthy & kind hearted!

I had the pleasure of having Mrs. Tanya Wilson as my fifth grade teacher and my cooperating teacher for my internship at the University of Montevallo. I have successfully completed thirteen years in education and currently serve as the ARI Reading Specialist for my school. Mrs. Wilson was my fifth-grade teacher, and I absolutely adored her! She not only loved her students in the classroom but also outside of the classroom, treating me as if I were one of her own. I loved her calm teaching style and how she always made me feel like I could accomplish anything, even if it was hard. One of the most impactful instructors I have had in my life. Extremely patient and detailed. Effective communication through writing is a pivotal skill in my role as a client-facing consultant and Mrs. Wilson was pivotal in developing the foundation of this at a very young age.
