About Basreen
I am an experienced English educator with over 11 years of teaching experience, working with learners of different ages, levels and backgrounds. I have always believed that learning English should feel encouraging, enjoyable and personal, rather than intimidating or overly rigid.
Creating a warm, welcoming and safe learning environment is very important to me. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, expressing themselves and learning at their own pace without feeling judged or pressured.
I enjoy helping learners build confidence in English, whether they are improving their spoken English, strengthening their grammar and writing, developing pronunciation and phonetics, or exploring English literature.
My approach is patient, supportive and adaptable, and I try to make every lesson feel both meaningful and comfortable.
For me, teaching is not simply about completing a lesson. It is about helping each learner feel more confident, independent and at ease with English, whether they are using it in everyday life, academically or professionally.

My lessons are personalised to each learner’s goals, level and learning style. I focus on building confidence, accuracy and strong communication skills across speaking, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, phonetics, reading and writing.
I also teach English literature, including reading comprehension, literary analysis, interpretation, essay writing and the study of different genres and texts.
With over 11 years of English teaching experience, I work with children, teenagers and adults, including ESL learners. Whether the goal is to improve conversational English, academic performance, written communication, pronunciation or confidence, each lesson is adapted to the individual learner.
Lessons are typically 45–60 minutes and are suitable for learners from beginner to advanced levels.

I highly recommend Basreen as a reading tutor. She is patient, kind, encouraging, and has a wonderful way of making learners feel comfortable and confident. She explains things clearly and takes the time to make sure her students genuinely understand rather than simply rushing through a lesson. Basreen is reliable, supportive, and truly cares about helping her students improve. I would happily recommend her to any parent or student looking for a dedicated and trustworthy tutor.
I definitely recommend Ms. Basreen as an English tutor.
