About Naeem
I am an experienced secondary English teacher with many years of teaching and leadership experience, including roles as Head of English and Assistant Principal. I have taught English across Years 7–12, with extensive experience in senior secondary English and Literature. I am also a former WACE English marker, which has given me a strong understanding of assessment standards and examination expectations. I am passionate about helping students build confidence, improve their writing and analytical skills, and achieve their academic goals. I also hold a CELTA qualification and have experience supporting students with English language development and IELTS preparation.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, ability and goals. I provide experienced tuition for Years 10–12 English, including ATAR English and Literature, with a strong focus on essay writing, text analysis, comprehension, creative and persuasive writing, and examination preparation. As a former WACE English marker, I can help students understand assessment expectations and develop effective strategies to improve their results. I also provide IELTS tuition, covering reading, writing, speaking and listening, with targeted preparation to help students achieve their required band score.
