About Jenni
I am a high school English and History teacher. I have taught all of the English courses; English Studies, Standard English, Advanced English, Extension 1 and Extension 2. I have marked the short answer paper and creative writing for the HSC with NESA. I have tutored English, Reading, personal writing, creative writing and critical writing. Disappointing! We decided to discontinue English tutoring for our daughter after several sessions.
Much of the lesson content appeared heavily text-based, with significant time spent typing during sessions rather than engaging in live discussion and feedback. At times, some written material appeared to be AI-generated or copied and pasted directly into the lesson.
In addition, when we requested a refund for two remaining unused lessons that had neither been taken nor scheduled, we were informed that the funds could only be held as credit for six months, despite no clear refund policy having been provided to us beforehand regarding unused lessons.
Based on our experience, I would encourage parents to carefully evaluate the tutor’s qualifications, teaching style, and refund policies before making a commitment.Perfect! Very helpful and patient. Excellent tutor.

Details
I am happy to introduce a reduced rate with prepay for the term. $1200 for the 10 week school term includes 1 student and 1 session per week. Further discounts can apply for 2 or more family members or sessions per week, just ask. Make up lessons for illness possible on availability. No Show fee of $20 applies to all confirmed bookings. Students paying per session will be invoiced weekly, with payment expected within 48 hours of the lesson.
