About Rebekah

My name is Rebekah Carey. I am a Drama and Creative Writing graduate and an experienced Special Needs Teacher. I have spent the past 4 years teaching communication, literacy and interaction skills to empower and shape meaningful lives for a range of diverse young people

I am driven to teach English because I believe in the profound impact of language. English, as a global lingua franca, opens doors to countless opportunities, from better education and employment prospects to richer cultural experiences. It's a tool for communication, understanding, and empowerment. Witnessing the growth of individuals as they gain language proficiency and confidence is immensely rewarding.
Teaching English is not merely a job; it's a means to empower others to connect with the world, express themselves, and achieve their dreams.
I find purpose in guiding students on this transformative journey, and it's my way of contributing to a more interconnected and inclusive world.
