About Tolu
Hello! My name is Tolu, and I am an English tutor from Nigeria with over four years of teaching experience.
My passion for teaching began while I was still a student, and over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with learners from different backgrounds and age groups. Seeing students grow in confidence and develop new skills is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching for me.
I hold a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, which has helped me develop strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Alongside teaching, I also enjoy writing, which has helped me become more expressive and clear in the way I communicate and explain ideas.
I enjoy helping learners improve their English because I believe that language opens doors to new opportunities, connections, and experiences. Whether a student wants to improve their speaking, reading, writing, pronunciation, or overall communication skills, I find it fulfilling to support them on their learning journey.
As someone who is currently learning Spanish myself, I understand that learning a language can be challenging at times. This helps me relate to my students and create lessons that are encouraging, practical, and easy to follow.
My goal is to help learners build strong English skills while enjoying the learning process and gaining confidence along the way.
