About Mai
I graduated in Fashion Design but discovered my true passion in storytelling, and I am now pursuing my MA in Sequential Design and Illustration in the UK. Understanding the challenges of finding one's creative path, I aim to provide the same guidance and inspiration that my own teachers gave me. I find it incredibly rewarding to help students achieve their artistic goals, whether they want to explore their potential, hone their skills, or reconnect with themselves through art. My lessons are designed to foster creativity, build confidence, and ensure continuous future practice.

In my art lessons, I encourage students to explore their creative potential through a mix of media and hands-on experimentation, allowing for personal expression while also grounding them in fundamental techniques. I emphasize the importance of art history and still life painting as the foundation, helping students develop a deep understanding of visual language.
Each lesson typically lasts 3 hours, providing ample time for in-depth exploration and skill-building. With experiences in teaching different age groups, I tailor my approach to suit my student's needs: children aged 3 to 7 engage in tactile, exploratory activities; those aged 10 to 16 focus on honing observational and technical skills; and adults explore technical development, art history, self-expression, and sequential design. My classes are designed to meet students where they are, fostering creativity and confidence at every level.
