About Edith
I have taught core French with the YRDSB for approximately 20 years. I grew up in Ottawa and attended French school, lived abroad in France and traveling to Quebec. I am passionate about teaching French and engaging learners of all ages and levels.

My passion is in play based learning in French with balanced literacy reading, writing, speaking and listening with differentiated instruction (art, music, sports, kinaesthetic activities, maker-space, building, games, + technology) which meets learners' multiple intelligences. Moreover, French learners are accommodated using assessment strategies (as, for of learning) which promotes a growth mindset. Thus, all learning is inclusive, cooperative, respectful and engaging for all.
