I am a dedicated and patient tutor with a strong quantitative and analytical background. I hold an MBA from Cornell University and Queen’s University, a Master in Finance from London Business School (LBS), a BS in Finance from Indiana University Bloomington, and am a qualified Canada CPA (with AICPA experience). With fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese, I bring international perspectives and clear communication to every lesson.
Although I have extensive professional experience in finance and business, I am passionate about helping high school students build a solid foundation in mathematics. In each lesson, we start by identifying your current level and specific challenges. I then explain key concepts clearly using real-world examples from finance and data analysis, making abstract topics like derivatives, optimization, and SAT problem-solving strategies much more intuitive. We combine theory with plenty of practice problems, past exam questions, and targeted SAT-style drills. I provide step-by-step guidance, immediate feedback, and customized notes or homework to reinforce learning.
