About Hannah
Hello, my name is Hannah. I have taught GCSE English literature and language online for four years.
I really enjoy tutoring and find that it is a great way to stay connected to the subjects that I loved at A-level. I continued my English writing and reading skills at university by completing a law degree. Alongside this, I have taught on multiple platforms, receiving 33 five-star reviews from pupils, many of whom have gone on to receive A*.

I like to start my lessons by discussing personal goals (grades or otherwise). This will help me develop a plan to help a pupil reach their targets.
We will then discuss which set texts a student is given and where they might need more help.
We first work to build a good knowledge base. This includes understanding techniques and being able to analyse texts to understand meaning (A02). We then look at context (A03) and work on developing interesting points of view (A01)
We then start to develop exam skills by completing past paper questions, so that this knowledge can be demonstrated to an examiner.
