About Amo
Hello, my name is Amo. I graduated from the University of Birmingham with a BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences and subsequently completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
I have been tutoring for over 11 years and have delivered more than 5,000 hours of tuition, supporting students across GCSE Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Combined Science and Triple Science. Throughout my career, I have worked with students of all abilities and have developed a reputation for being approachable, patient and committed to helping students achieve their academic goals.
I am passionate about helping students build confidence in Science and understand that every learner is different. One of the most rewarding aspects of tutoring is seeing students grow in confidence, overcome challenges and achieve results that they may not have initially thought possible.
Over the years, I have built strong relationships with both students and parents, with many students choosing to remain with me for several years. My aim is to create a supportive and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing their understanding and reaching their full potential.

My lessons are tailored to the individual needs of each student and are designed to build confidence, strengthen subject knowledge and develop the exam skills required for success in GCSE Science.
With over 11 years of tutoring experience and more than 5,000 hours taught, I have worked with students of all abilities, from those looking to secure a pass grade to those aiming for Grades 8 and 9. I specialise in GCSE Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Combined Science and Triple Science, and have extensive experience teaching across AQA, Edexcel, Pearson Edexcel IGCSE and OCR specifications.
Lessons are structured, engaging and focused on measurable progress. I use a combination of clear explanations, worked examples, exam style questions and past paper practice to help students develop both their understanding of the content and their exam technique.
Every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style accordingly, ensuring that lessons remain supportive, challenging and effective. My aim is not only to improve grades but also to help students become more confident and independent learners.
