About Kim
I am a recent Honors graduate at the University of Houston with a degree in Public Health, minored in Biology and Medicine & Society. I am planning to attend medical school in Fall 2025. I have been well-versed in General Chemistry since 8th grade and won 2 gold medals for competing in National Olympiad Competition for the Chemistry section 2 years in a row in high school. As I am pursuing a career in medicine, I am also confident in my ability in Calculus, Statistics, Physics, and Biology. As an immigrant from Vietnam to America at 16 years old, I excelled at providing grammatical English lessons. As a leader of a pre-medical organization in undergrad, I also have extensive experience in mentoring and giving advice to pre-medical students, which helps lead them to a successful career in medicine. I gained my tutoring experience through being a volunteer tutor of American Chemistry Society (ACS) at my school for 1 year and worked at a middle school as a teaching assistant for 1 year. I also frequently help my peers and classmates as needed.
