I am a Grade 9 English student with experience supporting younger children with reading through a school-run programme. I have a reading age of 19, which helps me support students confidently with reading comprehension, vocabulary, and written expression. I have worked one-to-one with pupils to build confidence in reading aloud, understanding texts, and improving writing skills such as spelling, sentence structure, and basic grammar. I am patient, supportive, and adapt lessons to suit each child’s level and learning pace. My lessons can help with: • Reading fluency and comprehension • Pronunciation and confidence reading aloud • Writing sentences and short paragraphs • Spelling and basic grammar • Building confidence in English I am reliable, encouraging, and good at working with children who may need extra support.
