About Deborah
I’ve got 15 years' experience of being a secondary school Maths teacher, teaching KS3, KS4 and KS5. Within those years I’ve worked my way up to being an assistant headteacher in charge of Maths. I’ve also gained specialist leader of education status which means that I’m used around other secondary schools to help Maths departments raise achievement. I’ve managed to turn departments who require improvement to an outstanding level within four months. I’d like to advertise my tutoring services to help students remain on track with their maths learning. I offer personalised learning other than what you might be able to get from your teachers. Each lesson will be planned and personalised for your needs. Learning will happen through power-points, worksheets and e-learning tools to help keep learning interactive and fun. Deborah really helped me with my Math GCSE - I was predicted a 5 and there were certain topics I just didn't understand or get to grips with. I never thought I would pass. Deborah broke things down for me in a way which managed to stick in my head, I felt so confident to no attempt these questions. My fear of Maths went away! I was so happy when I went on to achieve a grade 7 and I can assure you if it was not for Deborahs teaching I would have never achieved that grade. She made learning really fun!
Deborah helped me last year with my GCSE work. I really looked forward to her lessons and I learnt so much! She even made me like Maths!
