About Jill
Hi, I’m Jill! I have over 20 years of experience in theater and improvisation as a performer, director, teacher, and coach. I studied Theater Arts at UC Santa Cruz and have spent years helping students build confidence, creativity, communication skills, and stage presence.
I’ve taught improvisation in schools, theaters, camps, and community programs, working with children, teens, and adults. My students know me for creating a supportive environment where it’s safe to take risks, make mistakes, and grow. Whether you’re brand new to improv or looking to sharpen your skills, my goal is to help you become a more confident, authentic, and connected performer.

My approach to improvisation is supportive, practical, and fun. Whether you’re looking to become a stronger performer, build confidence, improve communication skills, or simply get more comfortable thinking on your feet, I tailor lessons to your goals and experience level.
A typical lesson includes warm-ups, improv exercises, scene work, feedback, and skill-building techniques that can be applied both on and off the stage. I have over 20 years of theater and improvisation experience, including directing, teaching, performing, and coaching students of all ages.
My specialty is helping people feel comfortable taking risks, trusting their instincts, and finding their authentic voice. Lessons are available for beginners, experienced performers, professionals, students, and anyone curious about improvisation.
