About Ella
I am an experienced Marketing Executive with over four year's experience as content writer. I have written a multitude of content marketing assets for a variety of different industries over the last four years. These have included email campaigns, social media posts, e-books/guides, blogs, brochures, leaflets and other miscellaneous marketing assets.
I have experience in training colleagues on the power of social media and how best to utilise it in order to enhance their businesses. As well as this, I have written articles for magazine editorials, websites and blog content for a range of companies within the travel industry. However, I have also written content for businesses within the hospitality, health & wellness, and tech sectors too.
When I was younger, I created a Twitter page that went on to gain nearly 700,000 followers (and over 900,000 at its peak), so I have a very in-depth knowledge of all things social media and have first-hand experience of the importance of great content. I studied Broadcast Journalism at university, which further enhanced my communication skills, having interviewed and liaised with everyone from police officers to the leader of the Labour party.
I have a varied background in the travel industry, having worked for a luxury tour operator, franchised travel agency and, most recently, in a ski resort in Andorra.
I have managed social media platforms, ensured the growth of followers and engagement from customers, written blogs, brochure, and website content and created video content, as well as successfully working to increase traffic to the company website to convert this traffic to sales.
