About Sabiea

I graduated from the University of Leicester with a First-Class degree in Politics and Economics. During the pandemic, I began providing online Maths and English tuition alongside my studies, and over the past few years, I have continued to develop my experience as a tutor.

I enjoy helping students build their confidence, strengthen their understanding and work towards their individual learning goals. I understand that every student learns differently, which is why I take a personalised approach to teaching. I adapt my explanations and teaching methods to suit each student's needs, breaking down challenging topics into manageable steps and helping them develop a clearer understanding of the subject.

My aim is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, tackling difficult topics and making progress at their own pace.

I have almost five years of experience tutoring Maths and English to students across a range of ages and abilities. I offer tuition for students aged 7–16, covering Key Stage 2 (KS2), Key Stage 3 (KS3) and GCSE, including both Foundation and Higher tier Maths.

Personalised lessons tailored to each student
I understand that every student has different strengths, learning needs and goals. I adapt my teaching approach to suit each individual, whether they need help understanding challenging topics, reinforcing concepts covered at school, developing their problem-solving skills or preparing for assessments and exams.
 
Flexible teaching approach
I offer two approaches to tuition, depending on the student's needs:
- Targeted support: Focusing on specific topics or areas identified by the student or their parent, allowing us to address difficulties and strengthen understanding.
- School-aligned support: Reinforcing classroom learning and following the relevant curriculum to help students develop a secure understanding of the content expected at their level.

Lessons are typically one hour long, although I can accommodate alternative session lengths where appropriate. I also offer flexible scheduling, which we can discuss when arranging lessons.

My aim is to help students strengthen their subject knowledge, build confidence and develop the skills they need to approach their learning more independently.

Online tuition rates
- KS2 (Primary): £13 per hour
- KS3: £14 per hour
- GCSE Maths (Foundation and Higher): £15 per hour

Rates vary according to the level of tuition required. All lessons are tailored to the student's individual needs and learning goals.

Face-to-face tuition
In-person tuition is available at a rate that depends on the student's location and the travel involved. An additional travel charge may apply.
