I'm a music tutor and working musician/composer with 6 years of experience, having played in countless ensembles and at high profile events and festivals.
I have taught hundreds of students, many of whom have went on to form successful groups, study music or pursue other ventures in the creative industries.

When we listen to music, it makes us feel good. It inspires us and affects our mood in ways unique to the arts. I believe this should translate into teaching/learning music, also. I tailor each lesson to the individual and use their own interests to relate more general musical concepts. I find that this is the most engaging and motivating way to teach.
I teach all ages, from small children to teenagers to adults and will cater to any style - whether it be rock, pop, jazz, hip hop, country, traditional, blues, folk, Latin etc.
