About Laura

Hello! I’m Laura, a fully qualified primary teacher (QTS) with 11 years of experience teaching children from Year 1 to Year 6, (with the majority being in Year 6). I am passionate about helping children build confidence, develop strong foundations and achieve their full potential. I have a proven track record of success, with my classes achieving over 90% SATs pass rates in state school settings. My teaching is positive, engaging and tailored to each child, drawing on the latest research-backed strategies from the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF). I offer 1:1 online lessons or small groups of up to 4 children, and I am committed to creating a safe, supportive and motivating learning environment. I am DBS checked and a designated safeguarding lead (DSL), ensuring the highest standards of safety and care. Whether your child needs extra support, wants to consolidate learning, or is aiming to excel, I provide structured, fun and effective lessons that produce real results.
