About Binayak (Benny)
Hi there ! My name is Binayak and you can call me Benny. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Drake University in Iowa and I have been tutoring middle school and high school math and science subjects for over 7 years. I've unleashed my math and science magic while working as a Physics and Math teacher (in China, yes in China!), and as a Center Director of Mathnasium in Bay Area. Now I'm rocking it as an Associate Campus Director at Alliant International University, but my favorite hobby has always been teaching math and science all the way from basic foundation to high school level.
I specialize in teaching elementary, middle, or high school level beginning with basic numbers, counting, arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre calculus, calculus, physics, and chemistry.
I offer flexible math and science learning solutions tailored to your child's needs. Whether your child is enrolled in public school, private school, homeschooling, or utilizing platforms like IXL, Khan Academy, Brilliance, Pok Pok, or any other platform, I'm here to help.
For my teaching style, first I assess student’s level with minor task and assessment to identify strengths and weaknesses, and then armed with this intel, I work on creating a learning plan and move on from there. I'm also flexible to adapting according to your needs. Whether your kid is on a math and science rollercoaster needing to catch up, keep up, or excel, my strategy can be the sauce for success!
