About Desiree
I am a PhD in Interdisciplinary Communications with a broad range of experience teaching Qualitative Research Methods. I have taught methods at the undergraduate, graduate, and professional levels. I have a deep knowledge of qualitative research methods from a study spanning twenty five years at university. I have a specialties in ethnography, autoethnography , and arts based methods. I am a methods innovator and can work with you on methods in a variety of ways from helping you to understand the underpinnings of different aspects of qualitative research methods, to supporting you as you try to finish some aspect of a research methods homework assignment, to helping you to figure out what research method might be the most useful for you as you are trying to garner information for your business projects. I am a kind, gentle and compassionate person interested in helping you meet your educational goals.

If you are learning or wanting to learn qualitative research methods for university level, either graduate or undergraduate work, or if you are wanting to advance your skills or begin to learn qualitative methods as a professional, I can support you in these pursuits. I will work with you to determine your educational goals and go from there. I would devise specific lessons to meet your needs or help you though whatever work you have to complete. If you are in school and have assignments that you would like help with, we can break the assignments into pieces and work from there. If you are someone who is not in school and are wanting to learn either a specific aspect of qualitative methods or get a broad view of the field of qualitative research, I would be able to support you in either of these pursuits. I can also teach alternative or creative methods.
