About Dejah
I’m a dedicated educator with a passion for helping students succeed in reading and literacy. I graduated from Sam Houston State University and later earned my master’s degree in social work from the University of Houston. Currently, I teach 10th-grade reading, where I enjoy creating engaging, supportive learning environments for my students.
With a deep understanding of the challenges students face and a strong belief in personalized learning, I focus on helping students not just improve their grades but also develop confidence and a love for reading. In addition to teaching, I have a background in social work, which gives me a unique perspective on student development, emotional well-being, and effective communication.
